(For all who gave monetary donations at the Mineral Wells Chamber of Commerce donation jar, we apologize for not being able to send you a tax-deductible receipt. When we went to the Chamber of Commerce to pick up our donation jar , we were informed that the donation jar had been stolen off of their front desk. One of our volunteers had also placed a donation jar  in The Coffee Shop, near The Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells. This jar was stolen off of their front desk as well. For those who wrote checks at either of these places, we are unable to give you a tax-deductible receipt for your giving because we did not receive your gift. We apologize for this situation, apparently the one who stole the donations needed it more than Compassion for Life's victims did, and we pray for them.)
